Your information.

This notice explains the information handled when you browse this website or contact Source Point Security, a cybersecurity consultancy based in Covington, Louisiana.

Information you provide
Our request form asks for your email address and phone number, and lets you provide your name, company, preferred contact method, services of interest, organization size, timing, consulting hours, availability, and a description of your request. The details you choose to provide help us understand your needs, prepare a scope, and arrange a conversation.
If you email or call us instead, we receive the contact details and information you provide in that communication. Keep an initial inquiry high level. Do not submit passwords, secret keys, payment card details, controlled unclassified information, health records, or confidential assessment evidence. We can agree on an appropriate exchange method before you share project material.
How the request form works
When online submission is available, your browser sends your contact details and complete request summary over HTTPS to our backend hosted by Wix. The backend uses Wix’s email service to send the full inquiry to our business inbox and a thank-you message to the email address you provided. You do not need a Wix account to send an inquiry. Your email address is included so we can reply.
If online submission is unavailable, the form offers a request summary you can copy and an email draft you can review and send. A failed submission message means receipt was not confirmed; contact us before resending if you want to check whether the request arrived. Choosing the copy option places the summary on your device’s clipboard.
Requests for consulting time and service estimates start a scoping conversation. This website’s request form does not take payment, create a confirmed booking, or request payment card information.
How information is used and handled
We use inquiry details to review the work you describe, answer your questions, discuss scope and scheduling, and communicate with you about the request. Your selected contact preference helps guide that conversation.
Wix processes inquiry details and email content to deliver the business notification and your acknowledgment. Its email service may create or match a contact record using your email address. Our business email service also processes and stores messages you send and requests delivered by the form. These providers can hold copies of the information needed to handle your request.
Website delivery and email providers receive technical information associated with requests, such as an IP address, browser information, requested address, and request time. Our backend uses restricted operational records in Wix to limit repeated submissions and avoid duplicate emails. These records contain request identifiers, timestamps, derived identifiers, and processing status; they do not contain the full message text.
Read Wix’s privacy policy for its processing practices. If you previously submitted an inquiry through FormSubmit or a Wix-hosted form, that provider may retain copies of that earlier request.
Browser preferences and tracking
This website does not include advertising pixels or audience analytics scripts. It remembers your animation preference in your browser’s session storage so that your choice continues as you move between pages in the same tab. That preference is not your inquiry and is not sent with the request form.
The website code does not save a copy of your inquiry in local storage or session storage. Your browser or email application may separately remember form entries or drafts according to your settings. Wix-hosted pages and other websites have their own cookie and storage practices.
Keeping and deleting records
Wix’s email-transmission documentation states that full email content can be retrieved through its service for 30 days after sending. This period does not delete messages already delivered to our inbox or yours. See the Wix email-transmission documentation.
Operational records used to limit abuse and prevent duplicate emails have internal expiry markers. The current website does not automatically delete those records when a marker is reached, and it does not set an automatic deletion deadline for business email, contact records, or historical form records.
Closing this page, clearing browser storage, or deleting an email draft does not remove a request already received by a provider or our business inbox. Contact us to ask about the records associated with your inquiry, how long they will be kept, or whether they can be deleted. Applicable engagement terms and recordkeeping obligations also need to be considered.
If the handling or retention of particular information is important to your project, agree on those requirements with us before sending it.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may choose which optional details to provide, use email or phone instead of the form, or ask us to correct information you have provided. You can also ask for access to or deletion of information associated with your request. We may need enough information to identify the relevant record and confirm that the request is yours.
Email info@sourcepointsecurity.com or call 985.290.5917. Include the email address you used and a brief description of your request. Please do not include sensitive identity documents in the initial message.
